LOOK: Lightning and Predators reveal new Stadium Series jerseys for February matchup at Nissan Stadium

The Tampa Bay Lightning and Nashville Predators are taking part in the NHL’s Stadium Series, where they will play a video game on an NFL field. The background for this match will be Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, house of the Tennessee Titans.

A unique video game is worthy of special jerseys, so both groups will be debuting a make over for the February 26 video game.

This is Nashville’s 2nd outside video game and Tampa Bay’s initially.

Nashville is abundant with c and w, history, sports groups and the Lightning wished to expose their jerseys in a manner that records the essence of the city.

Take a take a look at their expose, caught, “Giddy up.”

The video starts with Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Rob Gronkowski and Lightning’s Alex Killorn FaceTiming, with Killorn on a jet ski.

Gronk offers Killorn some ideas on playing in a football arena, stating, “Well if you do score, don’t forget to do that cele I taught you.”

Killorn reacts with, “I don’t know how many times I gotta tell you, I can’t spike the puck!” much to No. 87’s dissatisfaction.

In real Nashville style, Killorn then gets a guitar while on the jet ski and zooms away while holding the instrument. Pretty outstanding things.

In the guitar case was an arena series jersey that he provided to Steven Stamkos, providing fans a preview of what they will see in Nashville, Tennessee.

Here is a more detailed take a look at the jerseys:

The Predators revealed the jerseys with a video from previous goaltender Pekka Rinne stating, “Hey fans, get your Stadium Series jersey now.”

The Stadium Series’ site points out the enjoyment from those in Tennessee that the video game is being kept in the city.

“Tennessee is home to the best sports fans in the world, and we’re honored that Nashville has been chosen to host the 2022 NHL Stadium Series game this February,” Tennessee Governor Bill Lee stated. “Smashville is ready to welcome thousands to Nissan Stadium and show hockey fans all that Music City has to offer.”
