NFL Week 2 grades: Cowboys earn an 'A' for destroying Jets, Raiders get an 'F' for blowout loss to Bills

Welcome to the Week 2 grades!

The 2nd week of the season is constantly a huge one in the NFL, specifically for 0-1 groups. If there’s something you do not wish to do, it’s begin the season with an 0-2 record. Since the playoffs broadened to 14 groups in 2020, just 4.3% of groups (1 of 23) have actually gotten better from an 0-2 start to make the postseason.

That’s not terrific news for the Bengals and Chargers, 2 groups that are now 0-2 after losing on Sunday. Of course, the Bengals simply occurred to be the one group that recuperated from an 0-2 start to make the playoffs, so they’re going to need to work that magic as soon as again.

Speaking of magic, the Giants and Commanders both appeared to have some in Week 2. The Giants connected the biggest resurgence in franchise history when they got rid of a 28-7 deficit to beat the Cardinals 31-28. As for the Commanders, they beat the Broncos 35-33 after tracking 21-3.

The Giants win kept them out of the 0-2 club. However, numerous other groups weren’t so fortunate. Along with the Chargers and Bengals, the Texans, Cardinals, Broncos and Bears are likewise off to an 0-2 start after losing on Sunday and the Vikings are now 0-2 after losing on Thursday. It may seem like it’s prematurely to cross out the 0-2 groups, however history states it’s not.

Alright, that suffices 0-2 talk, we have grades to give out, so let’s get to them.
