NHL Injury Updates: Ducks, Oilers, Panthers, Canadiens, Predators, Lightning, Golden Knights and More

Alyson Lozoff: Anaheim Ducks forward Rickard Rakell went back to the lineup last night.

John Vogl: Buffalo Sabres defenseman Henri Jokiharju went back to the lineup last night.

Matthew DeFranks: Dallas Stars defenseman Andrej Sekera missed out on Saturday’s video game with a disease. He was back on the ice the other day.

Ryan Rishaug: Edmonton Oilers goaltender Mike Smith might return in early to mid December. At this point it’s not looking like Smith will require surgical treatment.

David Dwork: Florida Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov was on the ice once again the other day. Have been informed that he’s been skating difficult and sensation great. He is formally still noted as week-to-week.

John Lu: Montreal Canadiens coach Dominique Ducharme stated that goaltender Carey Price hasn’t skated given that last Monday. He’s been doing off-ice work to construct strength and continued treatment.

The Canadiens are awaiting medical clearance for goaltender Jake Allen today. He might use Wednesday if cleared from his concussion.

John Lu: Canadiens coach Ducharme stated that defenseman Joel Edmundson will take a trip with the group on their trip to Washington and Buffalo. He will experiment the group on the roadway and are enthusiastic to be able to go back to the lineup next week.

Sens Communications: Ottawa Senators defenseman Josh Brown left last night’s video game with an upper-body injury.

Sam Carchidi: Philadelphia Flyers forward Kevin Hayes is taking a trip the group on their two-game trip however he isn’t anticipated to play.

  • Giana Han: Flyers coach Alain Vigneault stated that forward Kevin Hayes reinjured himself. He took a trip with the group to get treatment in Tampa and will remain there for a couple of days.
